RCS would love to have you join us! Auditions held following a rehearsal. We rehearse every Tuesday September through April from 7pm to 9pm at Christ Episcopal Church in Reading. Contact the RCS office or a member if interested

Love to Sing? Join members of RCS, their friends, and others for what promises to be an exciting and unique Summer Sing:
When: Saturday, August 18th from 10am – 3pm
Where: St. Thomas Church, Bernville
Guest Conductor – Matthew Robertson

The $15 registration fee includes a light lunch and beverages.

  • June 16 –Mozart, a Composer of Sacred Music Director, Steven Gearhart Robeson Lutheran Church, Plowville Join Steven Gearhart, Adjunct Professor of Music at Arcadia University, for this session. Steven will focus on Mozart as a sacred music composer. Mozart’s Mass in C, K.66 – the Domenicus Messe will be the central piece of music sung throughout the workshop.
  • July 21 –Queens of Heart, Heaven and Earth Director, Dr. Mary Larew New Life Bible Fellowship, Oley Join Mary Larew, Exeutive Director of Danbury Music Centre, for this workshop which will explore the soaring melodies of medieval abbess Hildegard von Bingen, the courtly love songs of troubadours, the serene motets of religious devotion and declarations of fealty to mortal monarchs -- music written by, for, and in homage to medieval and renaissance women. People who enjoy early music, Gregorian chant, beautiful harmonies, or just encountering some new pieces will surely enjoy the variety of works featured in this Summer Sing.
  • August 18 –Northern Lights Director, Matthew Robertson St. Thomas Church, Bernville Join Matthew Robertson, Founder and Artistic Director of The Thirteen (an all-star professional choir), for this workshop. Escape the heat of summer and be transported to the tundra. At once lush and austere, childlike and engaging, the sound-worlds of Scandinavia, the Baltics and Russia are sure to entrance and enthrall singers of all ability levels and interests. This Summer Sing will feature works by composers such as Arvo Pärt, Ēriks Ešenvalds, Tõnu Kõrvits and more.
